YOGA FOR KIDS

DAY: Mondays
TIME: 4:15 pm – 5:00 pm
PREREQUISITES: Kids ages 8 to 10
PRICE: $50.00 +HST

These playful classes provide a fun, inclusive environment for kids to develop their flexibility and strengthen their growing bodies while building self-awareness, self-confidence, and self-control. Weekly 45-minute classes are filled with creative practice that is suitable for all levels of fitness. Sessions are generally 4-weeks long and geared to kids ages 8 to 10.

YOGA FOR TWEENS

DAY: Mondays
TIME: 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm
PREREQUISITES: Kids ages 11 to 13
PRICE: $50.00 +HST

As the kids mature physically, mentally and emotionally, they still want to play in class but begin to engage with yoga on a deeper level. These weekly 1-hour classes are filled with creative practice that will develop inner and outer strength, flexibility and self-expression. Suitable for all levels of fitness, the sessions are generally 4-weeks long and geared to kids ages 11 to 13.

YOGA FOR TEENS

DAY: Tuesdays
TIME: 4:15 pm – 5:15 pm
PREREQUISITES: Kids ages 14 to 17
PRICE: $50.00 +HST

Iyengar Yoga is a great way for teens to be physically active and build confidence. It can also help considerably when they feel overwhelmed with schoolwork, an inability to focus, or stressed in general. These dynamic, playful classes incorporate standing and seated poses, backward and forward extensions, twists, inversions and balancing poses that are more typical of an adult Iyengar Yoga Class. Yoga for Teens, geared to those ages 14 to 17, is generally a 4-week program and is suitable for all levels of fitness.
