Iyengar Yoga for Strength & Stability | Exploring Virabhadrasana I & III

Looking to build strength and stability in your yoga practice? In this Iyengar Yoga session, we explore Virabhadrasana I and III (Warrior I & III) — two foundational standing poses that engage your whole body and cultivate focus.

In this class, we’ll experiment with different ways of entering the poses and paying attention to subtle shifts in alignment, awareness, & balance. Each variation creates a unique experience, helping both beginners and experienced practitioners deepen their experience and refine their practice.

No props are needed — just your mat, an open mind, and a willingness to explore.

💡 Practice Tip: Notice how each entry into the pose affects your body and breath. Observing these small differences is a cornerstone of the Iyengar Yoga method and can help you develop strength, stability, and mindfulness on and off the mat.
